Bought this for my 9-year-old's birthday and the flashy LED blocks did not disappoint. Watching the colors change on his first build was genuinely entertaining, and it kept him busy for a full afternoon with zero tablet time.

The color-changing LED blocks kept my son busy for almost two hours on a rainy afternoon, and he didn't ask for the tablet once. I like that it's actual circuit building instead of just snapping pieces together, so he's learning while the lights flash.

My daughter figured out how to make the LED blocks flash in a pattern within the first ten minutes, and now she's building circuits that change colors on their own. The blocks snap together easily enough that she doesn't need my help, which means I actually get to drink my coffee while it's hot.
